Tackle a Trail Together

Calgary’s pathway network is legendary – and perfect for all kinds of family outings, from stroller walks to teen challenges.
\n
\n- Glenmore Reservoir Loop: Spend a full day (or multiple days!) exploring greenspaces around the reservoir. You can walk the 15km paved loop, stop in at playgrounds, enjoy outdoor games, or even check out a bike pump track. Looking for a quieter adventure? Wander through Weaselhead Flats, found on the west side.
\n- Nose Hill Park: For families who love a bit more elevation, Nose Hill is your park. Wander easy trails across open grasslands or power up steeper routes to earn sweeping skyline and Rocky Mountain views.
\n- Fish Creek Provincial Park: With more than 80km of trails, Fish Creek is a go-to for Calgary’s outdoor-loving families. Popular spots like Shannon Terrace and Hull’s Wood offer casual loops and picnic-perfect settings. Want a longer trek? Explore the park’s more remote trails to discover hidden wetlands and quiet forest paths.
