AUArts summer teen courses and kids camps. An exciting and supportive place, filled with creative activities, idea exploration, and hands-on learning. Nurture your teen’s creativity with AUArts' studio-based summer art and design courses in animation, ceramics, drawing, fashion, manga, painting, and photography. Art for all and all for art! Learn to draw, paint and sculpt from professional artists in a friendly environment. Our summer camps and weekly classes are specialized, educational and fun. We create opportunities for everyone to discover, experience and develop new art skills plus improve their concentration, problem-solving and perseverance. Artists-in-training gain greater self-confidence in their abilities along the way. Sibling and multi-camp discounts are great for families.

For over ten years, COF Summer ART camps has been offering kids four to 14 years the opportunity to explore the exciting world of ART and art making. Campers learn about drawing, sketching, texture and colour while working with a wide variety of mediums including acrylic and watercolour paint, chalk and oil pastel, coloured pencils and pens, mixed media and more.Through artistic experimentation using various techniques, subject matter and art tools campers learn and gain confidence in their ability and while understanding their own individual art practice. COF camp art making time is spent indoors and outside. All art materials and supplies are provided.

We offer kids’ PD day art camps and week-long spring and summer camps. Kids’ summer art camps have a full curriculum of art education at Glendale Community Hall, with even more indoor and outdoor space. Many different mediums and activities. Drop-off is 8:15am and pick-up is at 5pm, Monday to Friday, with nine different weeks to choose from. $375, plus GST, per week. PD days are $95 per day, plus GST. 

Pinnovate’s award-winning summer art camps are back! Each week is packed with an exciting variety of art and crafting projects, fostering creativity in a fun and engaging environment. With two dedicated rooms, groups are divided by age to ensure age appropriate learning and the best experience for all campers. DJD summer dance camps are designed to instill a love of dance in your child! Sing, dance, act! SHOWBIZ KIDS is a fun and engaging musical theatre summer camp with the Youth Singers. Weeklong full-day camps for Grades 3 to 8. Campers will take part in choral, choreography, and theatre sessions. They’ll write a script, experience a number of popular styles of music and dance, learn about character development, participate in a professional recording session, and end the week performing in a mini-musical. SHOWBIZ KIDS week-long half-day camps for Grade 1 to Grade 2. Campers will explore music and self-expression in theatre arts through listening, movement/dance, games, imaginative characterization, and singing. Camp CFIS offers week-long themed camps for kids aged three to Grade 3 and for three age levels: Mighty Munchkins (three to four-and-a-half years), Kickoff To Kindergarten (for upcoming Kindergarteners), and Clever Kids (Grades 1 to 3). Activities include indoor and outdoor games, crafts, ball sports, and playground play. Kickoff to Kindergarten and Clever Kids have weekly field trips and themed guest presentations. A volunteer-based charity since 2003 that helps youth cast their dreams by providing youth living in low-income situations the opportunity to experience a sponsored outdoor summer camp. Camp Fish'n Around enables youth to learn conservation, fishing, survival skills, and Canadian studies. Transportation provided by camp charter bus only. If you know a youth living in a low-income situation who could benefit from a fishing camp experience, please have them contact us. Volunteer opportunities are also available.

At Between Friends, we offer social and recreational programs for people with disabilities to connect, grow, and belong. Camp Bonaventure is our inclusive summer day camp, for youth ages four to 17. Camp Bonaventure provides a safe and accessible space for campers to make long-lasting friendships and be who they are. Camp Amicus is a unique summer camp program designed specifically for children and youth ages eight to 18 with learning disabilities and/or ADHD. Our camp goals are to increase the camper's confidence, self-esteem, and social skills in a fun and safe environment. With our three-to-one ratio of campers to counselors, participants are able to get the individualized attention that they deserve and need. Financial assistance is available, and most camps qualify for FSCD Funding. 

Easter Seals Alberta’s Camp Horizon is a fully accessible camp located just outside of Bragg Creek. Camp Horizon provides individuals with disabilities and medical conditions with life-changing outdoor recreation experiences in an inclusive and accessible environment. On-site, we have accessible high ropes, ziplines, a giant swing, climbing wall and more. Campers have the opportunity to explore the outdoors, build self-esteem, gain independence and have shared experiences with peers.

Camp Cadicasu is a traditional overnight camp in Kananaskis Country for children ages seven to 16. We have specialty camps available just for children and youth, in addition to our Leader-in-Training program (age 15 to 16). Activities at Cadicasu include hiking, archery, arts and crafts, yoga, earth skills, campfires, shelter building,and much more. Our mission is to increase confidence, inspire purpose-driven lives, and build resilience through transformative wilderness experiences.

Camp Kasota West, located on the shores of Sylvan Lake, is an overnight camp for children and youth. Trained counselors provide programming including archery, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, crafts, campfires, and discovery hour. Specialty programs: sailing and Counselors-in-Training.
