NorthernStar Mothers Milk Bank is Canada's only community-based milk bank. Operating as a charitable organization, NorthernStar screens breastfeeding mothers, accepting donations of excess milk from approved donors to be pasteurized in our laboratory. Milk is then dispensed to sick babies in hospitals and at home. We believe, and science supports, that human milk is the best option for any baby and that all babies have the right to the life-saving nutrients of pasteurized donor human milk.

Calgary-based Operation Eyesight has been partnering with communities to deliver quality eye care to people who need it most for nearly six decades. Together, we screened 1.68 million people across Africa and South Asia for eye conditions in 2021, delivering care to almost 169,000 people and distributing 186,000+ pairs of prescription eyeglasses to children, women, and men who could not otherwise access eye health services.

Post Natal Helpers provides part-time child care services for families with newborns, toddlers, preschoolers, and/or special needs children. We have been providing services in Calgary for over 30 years. While we are in the home, the parent has the option to stay, to rest, or to leave. Post Natal Helpers are available in the daytime as well as evenings, weekends, and overnights.

Rowan House’s mission is to provide crisis intervention, long-term support, and education for those affected by family violence in rural communities.

Support for school staff is also offered, along with private assessments. 

Chantal works with a range of people who have issues of self-esteem, confidence, anxiety, and depression, all the way to early childhood trauma or car accidents.

The Children's Grief Centre specializes in supporting families with children aged 19 and under as they adjust to the changes when someone close to them has died. Using individual, family counseling and peer groups, we work with children, teens, and their families to help them gain the tools they need to face grief. Counseling fees are on a sliding scale based on family income. No one is refused service because of inability to pay. 

Dr Harriet Johnston is a registered psychologist in Calgary. She works at the Eckert Psychology & Education Centre, where she provides child and adult assessment and solution-focused counselling to individuals, parents, and couples. She also runs a solo private practice, Cowtown Psychology.

With Sport Hub, kids and teens can explore soccer, lacrosse, tennis, rugby and more led by certified coaches. Lessons cost $125 or less for six to eight sessions, are free for teens (ages 13 to 17) and include all equipment. Fee assistance is available through Fair Entry. We offer a variety of Registered Programs for all ages and skill levels. Learn to swim programs from ages four months to adult. More advanced swimmers can join one of our Swim Clubs or take their interest in lifesaving to the next level with organized Lifesaving Leadership courses. Get them active early in the Active Living Program for preschool-aged children. Keep active during PD Camps, including Winter Break. A Membership at MNP Community & Sport Centre gives you unlimited access to all group fitness classes, fitness centre, five gyms, two pools, hot tub, cold tub, steam room, two tracks, and so much more – all under one roof at a great rate!

Moveology offers mom and baby barre classes every Tuesday and Thursday in Ramsay/Inglewood. Whether you're wearing your baby in a carrier or they're by your side on a mat, this class offers a wonderful opportunity to step out of your house, strengthen your bond, socialize with other moms, and stay active. Toddler siblings are welcome too!

Rocky Mountain Diving Club offers five-day weekly classes each week. The one-hour program will be a great entry to start a new sport.
