Every weekend in October and on Halloween – Spark will host Lady Buggy and her amazing bugs, beetles, and other wiggly friends. Daily from 10am to 2pm and Saturdays until 3pm, guests can even dissect a worm in Steven’s lab. On Halloween Day, costumes are welcome, make a mask and crafts, and join in a Halloween costume parade with candy at 2pm.

Light Art Projection.

Each evening at dusk, the artistic responses of four Indigenous youth, who learned how to use projection mapping to project their artistic responses onto 3D objects such as trees, grass and tipis, will be displayed on the northwest corner of the Barracks building. This event is being offered as part of an event series The Confluence is hosting to commemorate 150 years since the North-West Mounted Police (NWMP) first arrived at the confluence of the Bow and Elbow Rivers and established Fort Calgary in 1875.
